Hello everyone, Thank you all so much for your suport and nice messages during the run up to our events. When we started the fringe a few months ago we were new to organising such an event and have relied really heavily on the support of local businesses.

It is being funded privately with the exception of one sponsored event by the Fabulous Jimi Morgan who raised just over £100 from friends and colleagues by eating bugs, Thank you Jimi!

We have ensured that all acts are able to take part in this years events for free, so whereas other places may charge them an admission fee there has been no such fee with us.

We are very happy to have had the support of the following businesses;

Firstly Coastal Housing, Howard Helen and the Team have been wonderful and provided us with a fantastic building to use on High Street. We had hoped to put on a series of events for children there but due to lack of pre booking, and our extremely tight budget we had to make the sorrowful decision to cancel those events. We will look to do them again though at another time.

Sian Lynch at Guide2Swansea, Sian has been wonderful in posting out about our events, as well as listing them on her local hub of information, again a massive thank you to Sian.

Cafe Nisse, Tino and her Team are hosting two events Comedy Events for us with free room hire.  Six Steps to Joy and Plate Expectations

No Sign Wine Bar are hiring us The Vault for the first ever audience recording of poplular podcast Live in the Laundry Room

Mozarts have given us free venue hire for our poetry show, The History of the World in Seventeen and a Half Poems

The Garage in Uplands with Sue Briggs and her team Have been fab too helping us create both comedy events forCardiff’s Omar Hamdi and Swansea’s Noel James and also our music gigs, The Oystermouth Radio SUmmer Shindig and the Finale Gig which is an opportunity to hear The Empty Shed Experience for their farewell gig.

and Lastly to Kelly Costanza who has been my rock through the last few weeks, when life has got in the way, emergency appendix operations and general life things have all been there to put a spanner in the works. We shall see if her calming effect gets me through the weekend!

Please come along and support these wonderful people who are gigving up their time to perform for you. They are all accomplished and wonderful in their own rights, and we are delighted to have had their support with this first event too. Come along and enjoy.

logoWe’d just like to say a massive thank you to Sian Lynch  from Guide2Swansea who has been such a support in promoting all of our events.
